About Me
Hi! I’m Madi.
Originally from Seattle, I moved to San Diego two years ago in search of sunshine — and a place where my passion could grow roots.
My heart for advocating for individuals with special needs stems from my brother, Jordan. He was born when I was six, and for much of his early life, his diagnosis remained a mystery. It wasn’t until he was 13 that he was officially diagnosed with autism and cerebral palsy.
Growing up, I didn’t always understand Jordan’s world — but I always knew I loved him, and he loved me. Ours is a bond that words can’t quite explain — it’s simply felt.
Jordan is my only sibling and one of my greatest teachers. Despite the challenges, he’s brought our family closer to each other, to God, and to a deeper understanding of unconditional love.
This journey ignited a lifelong calling: to show up for individuals who are often misunderstood, and to stand beside the families who love them.
As someone who also grew up playing sports, dancing, and later falling in love with fitness, movement has always been my safe space — a place of healing, joy, and growth.
So, I combined the two things that have always brought me life: serving those with special needs and movement.
That’s how Madly Yin Love was born — a space for soft, patient, nourishing, and empowering movement that celebrates every body’s abilities.
